So I found out that the Bicep Femoris is part of back thigh WHICH is where most of my physical pain comes from so I need to nag myself into doing these kind of exercises for the sake of my aching legs.
5 workouts:
SQUATS my favourite exercise in the history of ever. Gotta make sure your butt is out and you have good posture and slowly bend your knees. The knees should be at 90 degree angle. Just hold for 3 seconds and relax.
SQUATS WITH BARBELLS going little bit more with the squats you carry a barbell while you squat.
I found a little video on youtube I didn't try but I found interesting.
So the head of the bicep femoris is around the back of the knee and goes about 3 inches up the thigh.
The lady had a roll that she put under her knee and she lifted her hips up so she is balancing onto the roll. Then at a speed around 1 inch per second she rolled it up to her thigh until she reached a sensitive point and held it for 20 seconds
I mostly found stretches afterwards
SIT AND REACH
There is a stretch that dancers do where they prop their leg up on a barre and stretch and the more higher up it is the better. But you can use any kind of elevated object and stretch and hold the position for a good 20-30 seconds
Yay you!! Love that you are including things to remember about exercises like how far to bend the leg. Why do you have pain in your hamstrings? What has the doc told you is good for your veins?
ReplyDeletejust ALOT OF STRETCHING even just a little bit if it starts hurting a bit a quick stretch really helps
